Brave

Oh Pixar. You are so good at what you do.

Keith and I have been seeing just about every movie that has come out this past month. Keith LOVES going to the movies. I'm kinda "meh" about it because it's so overpriced, and frankly, there haven't been any movies I've been dying to see. The only movie besides Brave that I've been excited about is Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Slayer. It was freaking awesome, by the way. haha!

Anyway, we saw Brave tonight, and it was SO GOOD. I didn't really do my research on it like I usually do with Disney movies, and I was surprised by how much I liked it. It's got a great mother-daughter story that made me cry at the end. So sweet. The Pixar short before the movie was awesome, as well. They're such good story tellers!

My favorite part, though, was in the beginning when the usual Disney movie intro plays with the Cinderella castle and the song "When you wish upon a star" comes on. I got a little emotional. Keith and I looked at each other at the same time after the into was over, and when we noticed each others' watery eyes, we chuckled. I'm sure he was thinking the same thing I was at that point. We sure miss Florida...
