This past month has been an interesting one, to say the least. We have both been really stressed out lately (Keith with his work and church calling, and me with moving). We have been on the edge a lot with each other, and I've been a little depressed. Living in Utah has been a huge trial for us on many levels. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though! We will be moving back to the place we love to be in just a couple months.
I just want to say: I don't regret moving here. It's been a learning experience and I've been able to see long lost friends, I was able to provide shelter for my nephew David (who I love dearly) when he was passing through town. I've reconnected with my best friend Brittney and have helped her with her future plans. I've reconnected with my nephew Derek and have met his future wife. We got to be with family all the time. I went and watched General Conference LIVE! I've seen the temple lights. I went skiing for the first time, and learned how much I don't like snow. So it's been a good experience!
We've done what we came here to do: To be closer to family and friends and experience cold weather. Now it's time to go home. :)
What we've been up to:
Keith has been working and playing golf a lot. This past week we were planning a trip to Disneyland, so Keith got paid vacation, I got time off and so did Steve and Raquel. Then I looked online and found out I couldn't get everyone in for free those days, so the trip was cancelled and Keith kept his days off. Steve and Raquel decided to go to Texas instead, so Keith and I had the house to ourselves and it was glorious.
Hobby Lobby has been good to me so far. I even got a pay raise! I'm thinking about maybe working at the Hobby Lobby in Orlando when I get there and keeping my seasonal status at Disney. That way I can have Sundays off!
Keith and I got Netflix! We got it just because I wanted to watch a new show with Keith: How I Met Your Mother! I got into it when I was in Florida staying with my friends and they had it recorded on Tivo. I watched every episode they recorded and when I got home I wanted to watch it from the beginning with Keith. So far we've watched seasons 1 and 2. Next up we're starting the Big Bang Theory. :)
I sold my dining set and my wedding dress to get ready for the move! The wedding dress was bought by a cute girl who is getting married in July. The dress fit her perfectly in every way! It was like it was meant to be. lol
That's it for the news. You stay classy, internet.
