News

The day before I left for Florida, I got a call from the manager at Hobby Lobby inviting me in for an interview! I have been bugging him ever since before Hobby Lobby opened in August. So much so, that when I would go in to shop, he would say hi to me and call me by name. lol

Anyway, so I went in for the interview and did alright. He made me take a math test, which I did really bad on... but he gave me the job anyway! After the interview, I went to Bajio to eat, and then gave my two-week notice. It worked out, because I was also in Florida for 2 weeks!

I'm not particularly excited about the job. It's better than working 2, though! I haven't quit at the call center yet, but I may soon. I've been back at Hobby Lobby for 2 days, and it's been good! I have been trying to get back into the groove of things, trying to get used to the things that have changed since I've been there. We'll see how things go...

Another exciting thing for me is that I took engagement pictures for my nephew Derek and his new fiancé Rachael! They were my first real photo-shoot! It was a ton of fun. They are really sweet together, and are a great couple! They're getting married May 7th in Spokane, WA. Soon! I'm really excited for them. Here's some of my favorite pictures from that day. :)

Derek told me before we met up that they wanted to dress up as Napoleon and Deb. I was confused at first, but remembered that Derek is pretty much Napoleon Dynamite. lol

So cute!! Congrats, Derek and Rachael!
