Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving dinner was a success! This year I wanted to try my best to make a REAL dinner. Last year Keith and I were working on Thanksgiving, so we bought everything pre-made except for the mashed potatoes. AND we had a small chicken instead of a Turkey.

I asked my mom to help Raquel and I to teach us how to prepare a perfect Thanksgiving. The night before Thanksgiving we made the cornbread and candied yams. I had never made candied yams before so I was kind of skeptical about the recipe. But they turned out so good and Keith and my mom loved them! I loved them too. I'm proud of myself.

On Thanksgiving day my mom came and we prepared the turkey and put it in the oven. Then we made the mashed potatoes and got everything set up! It was much easier than I had thought, and it all turned out SO GOOD. I was very happy.

DON'T THEY LOOK SO HAPPY???

The pretty table decor.

The goods. My candied yams are in the back left corner!

My mum carving the Turkey. Thanks mom!
