Easters and Wise.

We don't really celebrate holidays like most people. Especially now that we're married. When we were dating we did one year where we decorated Easter eggs and we had a lot of fun! But I guess we got that out of our system and we don't need to do it again. Plus, afterward we had to throw out all the eggs we colored because we didn't eat them. So it was kind of a waste. We do enjoy the Easter candy though. :) I think I would just rather not have things I don't use or need around the house, like baskets and stuffed bunnies and such. I'm sure this will all change when we have kids though. :)
So I called in sick to work on Easter thinking I could actually go to church and wear my cute Easter dress, but forgot that it was conference weekend. I was a bit sad. I haven't been to church since the Sunday before Christmas. Keith and I watched conference though and it was good. It was nice to listen to the speakers and reflect on the real reason we celebrate Easter.
Our friends Ben and Luana had us over to their house for Easter dinner. We played Cranium and socialized and had a good time! It made me feel like our Easter was complete.

Today was a big day for Keith. He got his wisdom teeth removed! Poor guy. I've never seen him like this. The nurturer in me has come out a lot today. I have tried to make him as comfortable as possible. He's doing well. He's not really in a lot of pain. He has slept a lot, and hasn't eaten anything since yesterday. I had to call in today because I HAD to be at the dentist with him. I might call in tomorrow and Sunday to take care of him some more. He can't drive when he's on vicodin, and I'd like to go to church on Sunday. :D
