We're in Utah!

We made it into Utah on the 7th of July. The trip out here was really long. Nooni was surprisingly patient and hardly made a peep! That relieved a lot of my stress of the trip. I was so happy to be done with the drive and just be here in Utah.

We got all of our furniture in the new house and got all settled. I really like our house! Keith and I have 2 small bedrooms downstairs and Steve and Raquel have the master bedroom upstairs. We all share the common areas which are nice and spacious. It's been fun shopping and replacing everything we had to get rid of in Florida.

The second day we were here, my BFF Brittney threw a reunion party for Keith and I. It was SO nice to see my best friends again. I really missed them, and I hope we can spend more time together now. I especially missed Brittney! We hadn't seen each other in like 6 years. TOO LONG. I'm excited to be around everyone again like old times! There are still some people I need to see. You know who you are. We'll fix that very soon. :)

Keith started his job on the 12th. He loves it! I am looking for a job, myself. Yesterday Raquel and I went application shopping and got 11 applications at the University Mall. I was hoping that the Disney Store was hiring, but they aren't until September. I might wait just for that. I need Disney in my life! haha

For now, all I have are pictures of the outside of the house. I will take more inside once we have it a little more decorated. :)

Last Hurrah!

Since we found out about the move, we've tried to do some things we've been wanting to do here in Florida, but never got around to it. First we went to Miami!

We had a day off together so we used it wisely. We drove down on Sunday night after work and got a hotel. It's a 4 hour drive, and we wanted to play during the day so this worked out great. We slept in and went to breakfast and then the beach that morning. The water was amazing! Almost as pretty as Hawaii. We only stayed at the beach for an hour though because it was sooo sunny and Keith burns easily. I, however, got a nice tan. Miami was very interesting. We left also because we found out the hard way that we were in the topless section of the beach... YEAH.

Anyway, it's a very pretty city! I love the architecture there. I would definitely like to go back someday and spend more time there.

The other thing we did was visit Universal Studios! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter just opened a couple weeks ago. We knew if we didn't go check it out before we left, that we would regret it. It was so much fun! We were there for about 6 hours and that and Jurassic Park were the only attractions we visited. It was very cool. We ate at The Three Broomsticks for lunch and had an amazing feast served with some butterbeer! Then we went to Honeyduke's and had some chocolate frogs! :D The best ride there was definitely The Forbidden Journey. The queue where you wait in line was SO cool. I was in awe and teared up a little from how realistic things were. They had the hall of portraits that talked to each other and it looked SO FREAKING REAL. It's magic. The ride itself was awesome too. I was speachless at the end. Wow.

Right now, I am sitting on an air mattress and am about to go to bed. Tomorrow we wake up and head out to San Antonio. I can't believe it! It all happened so fast. We are sure gonna miss Florida. It has definitely been an adventure. I'm excited for a new one! Wish us luck! :D
