Updates:

On Sunday, like I said, we went to the beach! It was a ton of fun. I got to swim in the Atlantic Ocean for the first time! It beat me up though. I went in and it threw me around so I sat the rest of the time out. It was fun still! Keith's parents bought us boogie boards and beach chairs to take with us every time we go.

It's been raining a lot this week. We had to use up our Universal tickets during rainy days. On Monday when we went, I was miserable. It was pouring! I hate being wet with clothes on. Luckily I wore my swim suit underneath, so it could have been worse. The highlight of the day was getting to see the cars from Jurassic Park and Back to the Future! We went yesterday too, and we had ponchos so it was a little better. Basically anything not covered got soaked, which is better than all of me!

Yesterday Keith went to check in at Disney! He found out where he's going to work: Epcot! In Future World to be more specific. I haven't been there, so I have no idea what rides are there or anything. I'm excited for him! He's going to love it.

As for me and MY job. I have been looking around the apartments area and am getting an idea as to where I'll apply. There's a Chik-Fil-A right across the street and there's outlet stores down the street. I'm also thinking about applying at Disney. Apparently all I have to do is go to the casting center and set up an interview. Hopefully the rain will clear up and I can go without looking like a drowned rat. That's not a very good first impression. haha

We're here!

We got here yesterday evening. It took 2 long days. We are now staying in a condo with Keith's family for the week. It's a really nice place!

Today Keith and I went apartment hunting! I had done some research before we got here, so we knew which ones we wanted to look at. It payed off because the first place we went to was the one we chose! We actually didn't look anywhere else. haha... It's really nice, and it's only 4 miles from Disney World! We're really excited to move in, which will be next Friday! I'm happy to finally have a place of our own.

Since that is taken care of, now all that needs to be done is find a job for me! There's TONS of retail places that I can apply to, including 2 different outlet malls within walking distance of our place. I will be filling applications out on Monday.

After we got our apartment set up, we went to Universal Studios! Keith's parents were nice enough to buy us tickets for a whole week. It was really fun! It was crowded today because it's Saturday. We have a whole week to check things out.

Tomorrow, instead of going to church, we're going to the beach! I would like to go to church, but no one else would be going with me... It will be fun though! I'm excited.

Keith starts work on the 20th! I don't know if I'll be going to Disney World anytime soon. Keith can get people in for free, but he would rather spend those on guests since that is limited. We're going to buy an annual pass, but not until I get a paycheck. It will give me more incentive to go get a job! lol

our bags are packed, we're ready to go...

Everything is packed into our cars right now. We leave the house at 8am tomorrow. After getting the rest of Keith's family, we'll be on the road by 9. Keith and I have made our road trip CDs to listen to, and are ready to get outta here!

I'm a little nervous, but WAY excited! I hope everything works out well and we can find an apartment soon after we get there. My posts are probably going to be short from here on out until we can have a stable internet connection. I'll definitely keep you all posted. :D

10 Reasons I'm Excited to Move.

1. Keith and I will finally live on our own!
2. We'll be able to go to Disney World all the time!
3. Keith get's discounts at places in town for being a cast member.
4. I get to decorate a new place!
5. We get to make new friends and go to a new ward.
6. We get to work somewhere new.
7. We get to go shopping for stuff we need that we don't have (Like furniture and kitchen supplies)
8. We will live an hour away from the Atlantic coast and the Gulf coast.
9. We'll spend our anniversary there.
10. New adventures.

Flight of the Conchords!

Last night we went to see the Flight of the Conchords! They were awesome! We had a great time.

Before the concert Keith and I were scoping out the concert hall to see if we could find a tour bus or something. Instead, we found BRETT. He was sitting on a bench talking on his cell phone. We were so excited! There was a security guard there, so we couldn't get too close, but we got about 15 feet away and made eye contact. We left, then came back and he was still there. When we walked past, Jemaine and the rest of the crew walked by! It was so cool! I wanted so bad to go and talk to them, but I didn't want to bother them. They looked like they were going somewhere.

The actual concert was awesome. They were hillarious and sang our favorite songs. On the last song, Keith and I got out of our seats and stood by the door so we could get out fast. When it was over, we went to the car to get Keith's bass guitar, and then went to the spot we saw them earlier to see if we could get it signed. The security told us to stand behind this other couple who were there if we wanted to meet them. We waited and waited... They never came out. :( The concert crew told us that they left already. We stayed though, until we were one of the last ones there. We got to meet and talk to Eugene Mirman from the Flight of the Conchords show, though. We told him to tell Brett and Jemaine we said hello. 

It was a bummer. I was sad. But we still had a great time! :D

The Next 2 Weeks

Keith's brother Steven is coming to town from Mexico. Their dad just flew out there and they're driving up together. We've been worried with the Swine Flu thing going on, that maybe they won't be able to cross the border! There hasn't been any quarantine so we think they'll be okay. When Steve gets here though, we'll be hanging out with him a lot and maybe help him find a job.

Next Friday my sister-in-law is throwing us a going away party! It's going to be Disney themed. I guess she's got some games we're going to play and songs will be played. She won't give me any details as to what exactly will happen... I'm hoping it won't be TOO juvenile. lol

The plan has changed a little for our trip to Florida. We're NOT taking Nooni on this trip, but I'm still on the fence about it. We decided to come back for her after we find a place to live, and get a little settled. That way we won't have to take her everywhere with us, or pay to keep her in a kennel while we're there for who knows how many dollars a day. It's really hard for me though! She's my baby. :(

Also, we were going to leave on the 15th at like 3 in the morning and drive all the way through the day, but the condo we were going to stay in changed the check in time to earlier, so now we're leaving on the 14th and are stopping in Alabama for a night. It kinda messes up plans, but nothing too bad. 

I can't believe we're leaving so soon! Just less than 2 weeks! :D

EDIT: I forgot to mention a fun thing we're doing on the 7th. We're going to go see Flight of the Conchords in concert! It's going to be awesome! ...that's all.
